2 convicted of sexual assault on Snapchat evidence

On Tuesday, Rashad Deihim, 21, and Kailyn Bonia, 20, were found guilty of intent to rape, indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, and of kidnapping. Deihim was also found guilty of posing the victim, who was 16, in a nude state.

Intel Gets Into the FreeD Sportscasting Game


Intel on Wednesday announced its intent to acquire Replay Technologies, the company known for elevating the NBA All-Star Weekend with cutting-edge 3D graphics. Replay develops and maintains what it calls “freeD” — that is, free dimensional — technology. Sports fans may have noticed the Matrix-esque effect employed at other sporting events. The novel technique relies on an array of cameras, plus software to stitch all of the angles together seamlessly, which requires some muscular compute power and agile servers.

LinkedIn on Thursday announced its intent to complete the acquisition of online business school Lynda.com by the close of 2015’s second quarter. The deal, about 52 percent cash and 48 percent stock, is valued at around $1.5 billion. The terms are subject to adjustments, however, and there was still plenty of time left to make them when the agreement was announced. The two businesses are very different, but their ultimate goals are the same, said LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner.
