Up 'til Dawn is the coolest program to hit college campuses across the nation! This student-led, student-run fund-raiser is hosted by over 150 colleges and universities nationwide. We donated design time and hosting space for the WordPress-based website of the East Carolina University chapter of this charitable and hip organization.

The website has a number of key features, including:

• Volunteer manager for the organization to keep track of student volunteers.
• Sponsor manager for the organization to keep track of corporate donations.
• Organization blog for the group to share news about their recent and upcoming events.
• Event registration for the events they hold throughout the school year.
• Online store where they can sell products and accept PayPal payments.
• Multimedia section that includes both photos and videos from their events.
• And more!

Another cool aspect of the relationship between ECU Up 'til Dawn and proVanceTek is that all the services provided by proVanceTek are provided for free. It's one of our ways of giving back. We believe that St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is such an important cause that we have reached out to help this local organization because of the good work they do for the charity.

eNumeracy.com is dedicated to helping advance knowledge about how young children develop number sense. Number sense, or "early numeracy" involves a knowledge and interest in numbers, such as their names, what they represent, and how to work with numbers through counting, comparing, ordering, partitioning, grouping, and operating.

proVanceTek designed a website for eNumeracy.com around the Drupal Content Management System. Currently the website hosts several static pages, a couple dynamically generated pages based on several different content types, it provides additional content to users when logged in, and it also provides site visitors access to a forum for online discussions.

proVanceTek just completed a wedding website project for Chris and Joellen Carpenter. The website is a elegant, simple, static HTML design. The website is media heavy, including hundreds of photos and various videos.

We also provided video production services for the client, by 1) creating a video montage from wedding photos set to licensed music and 2) taking video from two camera sources that the client provided from the wedding ceremony and cutting together a quick wedding ceremony video. The website, including the videos, was turned around within twenty four hours of the wedding so that non-local family and friends who were unable to attend could quickly have plenty of multimedia to view; much of the website and many of the photos were live within hours of the ceremony.

Regarding the website's video player technology, the client needed an inexpensive solution to include online video within the website. proVanceTek incorporated the videos into the website using the open source version of a Flash video player called Flowplayer. The solution was fast, free, and accomplished what the client wanted. The only real caveat is that free version watermarks the video when in full screen mode.

proVanceTek recently released a new spiffily designed static HTML website for Dr. Mary Nyangweso Wangila of East Carolina University. Dr. Wangila is a Religious Studies professor at the Greenville, NC located university and has been the recipient of a number of prestigious recognitions.

proVanceTek collaborated with Mary to finalize a design that achieved her needs technically and met her goals esthetically. The color scheme and layout came in the form of suggestions directly from the client and from there proVanceTek delivered a professional, slick design that continues to impress the client.

The Greater Columbus Tennis Association is a non profit organization that "grew" out of the Upper Arlington Tennis Association. GCTA supports tennis in the central Ohio area and is comprised of volunteers.

We worked with the Greater Columbus Tennis Association to create a website design around the Drupal Content Management System. The content management system allows executive board members of the organization to edit their website using a Microsoft Word-like editor, also known as a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor. The website features a number of different dynamic content types, which incorporate features such as an event calendar, forums, a blog, photo albums, and more.

Dr. Siddhartha Mitra is an East Carolina University professor of Geochemistry. We designed him a website that is targeted for other professors who are studying in the same area, his current students, and prospective students. The intent of the website is simply to share the research that Dr. Mitra is conducting, provide online materials for students and other professors, and hopefully snag a few more prospective geology students for the university.

Dr. Mitra's website includes custom content types that allow him to create an assortment of pages that are dynamically displayed in various sections of his website. As an example, we created a content type for his publications. He can add his publications to the website using a form that provides him fields for publication title, publication description, other publication information, free tagging so he can associate keywords and phrases with the publication, and there's even a way for him to attach an image so that visitors can see the cover of the publication if he desires to scan it in and upload it.

Dr. Mitra's website is one of the first ECU faculty websites we've produced, and is hopefully one of many. We enjoyed working with Siddhartha on this project and look forward to future projects with him and the East Carolina University Department of Geology.

Project Battle Cry is a program to aide Soldiers, families, friends, and Clinic ions to understand the ramifications of the wounds of war: PTSD, PTS, TBI, and Secondary PTSD. Many of the most severe wounds will be invisible; the enemy within. In order to survive in battle and become victorious soldiers are catapulted far beyond the range of “normal” behavior.

We worked with Linda Cone, Project Battle Cry founder, to create a website that meets the needs of her new organization. The website incorporates features such as an event calendar, forums, a blog, photo albums, videos, and more. We have also provided a number of different custom content types that allow the Project Battle Cry staff to create new content on the site and for it to be dynamically loaded on various pages throughout the website.

proVanceTek has been working with the Galen Foundation since the inception of our company. The Beating Myeloma project was the original work of proVanceTek founder's, Robert Nelson Vance, previous entrepreneurialship efforts during his previous business venture. The Galen Foundation decided, when he left his previous partnership, to follow Robert as he created his new company, proVanceTek.

We've been helping the Galen Foundation build an interactive community providing support for myeloma survivors and their caregivers. The Drupal-based site consists of numerous articles, forums, personal blogs, mailing lists, and subscription-based content, and more. We've helped Beating Myeloma become more search engine friendly and invested countless hours in developing and releasing new content concepts for the website.

The Beating Myeloma project continues to evolve and we hope to see continued growth and interest in the cause as we continue to work with the Galen Foundation to improve member's experience when they visit.

Hilliard Dot Org is an online resource for information about Hilliard, Ohio and surrounding areas, including: Columbus, Ohio; Upper Arlington, Ohio; Grandview Heights, Ohio; Plain City, Ohio; Dublin, Ohio; Worthington, Ohio; Westerville, Ohio; Grove City, Ohio; etc.

You'll be able to locate various local business information for Hilliard, Ohio and the surrounding areas, to include: real estate (homes, condos, apartments, etc), automotive (body shops, engine service, oil change, etc), movies (movie listings, movie theaters, etc), entertainment (bars, clubs, karaoke, etc), restaurant (hamburger joints, ice cream shops, cultural dining, pizza shops, etc), and news feeds.

The Davidson Theatre website is Hilliard Davidson High School's Theatre Department's web presence. We're hosting their site and providing regular site maintenance support for their content-rich website. Their Drupal-based website includes everything from announcements via email subscription to online ticket sales and donations.

In more detail, we've provided custom content types on the Davidson Theatre website that allow the content creators to create content that is dynamically displayed throughout the site. An brief example of this is the Drama Boosters page that lists all of the board members. The administrator of the site is able to create new content referred to as "Board Member", they fill in the fields for the new content, click submit, and then the page is automatically added to the list board members.

We've also worked with Davidson Theatre at creating a way for them to post their Drama Boosters meeting agendas and minutes, along with being able to post forms, fliers, newsletters, and other documents in a Resources section on the website. The website also features an online photo gallery that displays photos from their events and a web calendar that displays upcoming events.

In addition to the web development of the Davidson Theatre website, proVanceTek has offered other services that include video production of application videos that resulted in the program being invited to the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh Scotland, production videography and photography, audio design and engineering, and more.

This website was created in support of Hilliard City Schools Issue 78 voted on in November 2008 for district operating funds.

It protects our children’s future, as well as this community’s future prosperity and quality of life."

Ohio Educational Theatre Association contacted proVanceTek wanting a CMS (content management system) based website that better reflected the Ohio EdTA branding and was easier for the board members to update.

The website incorporates features such as an event calendar, forums, a blog, photo albums, and more. In more detail, we have provided a number of different custom content types that allow the site administrators and Ohio EdTA board members to create new content on the site and for it to be dynamically loaded on various pages. The content creators enjoy a Microsoft Word-like editor, also known as a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor, that allows them to easily and quickly create and edit content without needing to know any web programing code.

The website will also provide online registration for the organization's annual 2000 student event. Though this feature was not included in the initial release of the website, the goal is to integrate online registration through the website into their current File Maker Pro system.

Wire My Rental is a proVanceTek website that is specifically dedicated to targeting property management companies who have an interest in wiring their properties for voice, data, and entertainment - Some refer to this as "structured media".

The website is a static HTML design with a number of different pages that feature each type of structured media that we specialize in. There's also a section on the website that provides Flash videos for site visitors to view that provide instruction on structured media.

The goal is for this website to be used as a portal website for proVanceTek by gaining higher page ranks for specific search engine keywords and phrases. We're working search engine optimization for this website so that this specific type of customer can more easily find our company on the internet.

proVanceTek plans on releasing a couple other similar websites targeted for some of our other services. The hope is that customers seeking these other services will find us through the more highly optimized portal websites. Another example of this type of website is out "Advertise on my Tacoma" website.

"Advertise on My Tacoma", much like the "Wire My Rental" website, is a portal website to help potential proVanceTek customers find our services through the search engines. The website highlights some of our advertising services, mainly mobile advertising - Advertising on vehicles.

Because the website has keywords and phrases, and general search engine optimization, that is targeted specifically for potential clients who desire mobile advertising, our hope is that this site will rise in page rank within the search engines and capture more of those customers. Because our company offers a variety of services, it makes it much difficult for us to feature any single service within the search engine results - A website like this helps resolve that issue.

The Glassman, a Columbus, Ohio based company, provides residential and commercial glass installation, repair, and replacement. The Glassman enlisted proVanceTek's expertise to create an easy-to-navigate, search engine friendly, and an esthetically good looking website.

The website provides The Glassman's potential clients with essential information about their company and their company's services. The website is a static HTML website, meaning that, unlike most of our other websites, we programmed it using HTML and that it does not utilize any sort of content management system. The majority of our other websites make use of the Drupal Content Management System.

In addition to the web development services we provided The Glassman, we also provided a bit of technical support in getting their email configured on their company computers using Microsoft Outlook.

Plain City Auction is located in Plain City, Ohio and specializes in antique furniture, glassware, pottery, and toys.

When proVanceTek was created, after the founder, Robert Nelson Vance, left his previous business partnership, Plain City Auction elected to follow Robert. During the move there were a number of changes to the Plain City Auction website. These included migration of the website from a custom CMS written by the previous hosting company to the Drupal Content Management System, migration of thousands of email addresses to a new announcement system, etc. Plain City Auction, however, wanted to keep the original look of the website, however, so we simply made the new site look as close to the original as possible.

While we're hosting and maintaining their simple, customer-friendly website, our business with Plain City Auction is not limited to web hosting. We've also worked with Plain City Auction on a number of other projects, including CCTV security camera upgrades, point-of-sale equipment, wired and wireless networking, structured media installation and support, basic computer technical support, and more.

proVanceTek came up with a Drupal-based solution that allows Stephen to easily edit his website using a Microsoft Word-like editor, also known as a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor. The website also features a blog maintained by Stephen and an online photo gallery system.

Stephen continues to patronize proVanceTek. He was formerly one of our Ohio customers, but he has since relocated to Tennessee, and he still sticks with proVanceTek.

Brite Lites Incorporated supplies lighting and audio equipment to theatre, television, churches, trade shows, and the performing arts industries. Brite Lites serves clients throughout the Midwest.

We provided Brite Lites with a simple, easy-to-navigate website that allows their customers to quickly locate company information, product inventory with photos, rental details, and more. We incorporated an portfolio section that provides potential clients descriptions, photos, and testimonials of previous work. An online contact form will help Brite Lites generate leads for potential customers by making it easy for customers to contact Brite Lites for additional information.

Brite Lites is located in Columbus, Ohio and was a proVanceTek client for several years prior to the creation of their website.

The "I Came for the Bombshells" website was designed as a fan site for the Columbus Destroyer's Bombshells.

The site allows visitors to sign up for a member account and participate in online discussions, post photos and videos, and receive daily emails of content changes on the website. An online photo album shares photos of the professional and candid photos of the Bombshells collected by website staff and submitted by fans. A video section provides streaming video recordings from Bombshell games, events, and other appearances. The website even provides online sales of "I Came for the Bombshells" apparel, bumper stickers, post cards, and other trinkets.

The website is owned and operated by fans of the Columbus Destroyer's Bombshells.

MarkDavidJennings.Com, is an online resume website for Mark Jennings

proVanceTek has been working with individuals - university students / faculty and professionals - to generate affordable, professional online resumes and vitae. These come in really handy when you're applying for a job or a grad school.

Similarly, we've also been offering online portfolios. These can feature photos, videos, and other work that can strike the interest of potential employers or schools that you're applying to.

Mark's website is simply an online version of his professional resume. This website will help establish his web presence as a professional in his industry and will put forth and good first impression if he were to try to change careers.

I Heart Robert Vance dot com is a engagement website for Robert Nelson Vance, owner of proVanceTek, and his fiance Kaela Rae Jennings. The website is a simple static HTML website, meaning that we programmed the website using HTML and that there is not a content management system being used to serve the page content.

The website was created to share engagement and wedding information and photos / videos with family and friends. It will evolve over time to include photos and videos of Robert and Kaela from before their engagement, the day of their engagement, during their engagement, and of their wedding. The website also provides some biographical information of both Robert and Kaela.
