Apple Might Need to Think Different About TV

Apple’s tough negotiating stance apparently has hobbled its efforts to bring entertainment industry companies on board with its planned streaming TV service. Talks with Disney, 21st Century Fox and CBS reportedly have fallen through. Had the entertainment and cable TV industry given in, Apple’s demands would have turned current practices topsy-turvy. For example, Apple reportedly wanted a multiyear freeze on the monthly per-viewer rate it would pay for Disney Channel licenses, whereas the standard practice is to increase rates annually.

The Top 20 CRM Blogs of 2015, Part 2: The Top 10

Almost a decade ago, the first edition of this list was tough to compile. There simply weren’t that many CRM blogs that were consistent (we set the annual minimum number of posts at a mere eight), vendor-agnostic and — most important of all — high quality. That number has increased over the years, but one interesting phenomenon has been that the people at the top of the list have been expert at holding onto their spots. Time demands, fatigue and the difficulty in finding new things to write about can cause blogs to fall silent.
