Elon Musk’s farmed-out high-speed people and cargo mover brainchild, the Hyperloop, is no stranger to headlines and rumors. Recently, the word on the street has morphed into to news that the system might conduct its maiden voyage around the ports of Dubai.

Move Over, FedEx – Here Comes Amazon


Amazon has been negotiating a lease for 20 Boeing 767 jets as it executes on plans to start its own air cargo business, according to recent reports. It launched a pilot of the service in Wilmington, Ohio, where Air Transport Services Group, or ATSG, has been managing airfreight on Amazon’s behalf. ATSG reportedly moved into the Wilmington Air Park under contract with an unnamed company. That company was shipping freight to Allentown, Pennsylvania; Ontario and Oakland, California; and Tampa, Florida.
