The idea is that Robert wants to purchase a professional camcorder and is encouraging his friends and family to sponsor, or get their employers to sponsor an advertising block on the website. The block will include an image of the purchaser's choice and link to a website of the purchaser's choice.

Basically, if you purchased a square when this site launched (January 2008), you'd be paying $1/month or the two years I promise to have it online. You can't beat advertising like that: 1) If this site becomes popular and gets mentioned on a social networking site such as Digg or reddit, then tons of people will visit this site and be inclined to click on your logo when they see it - this means people will be visiting your website! 2) It's one more link on the internet that points back to your website, and we all know how important Search Engine Optimization is these days 3) If nothing else, you can view it as helping Robert get that pro camera!
