Bose Home Theatre Installation

Bose Home Theatre Installation

We just completed a Bose home theatre installation. The home theatre system features seven Bose 100 speakers and one Bose Acoustimass 3 Series III subwoofer. Yes, that means the system is capable of producing Dolby Surround 7.1 audio. After some equalization for the room of installation, the system sounds amazing.

We love Bose. Their equipment is attractive, reliable, and sounds great. Bose speakers are really unmatched when it comes to the quality of the audio they produce. Well, that should be enough of a Bose pitch for the day. Contact us today for a home theatre estimate.

Five Decades of Performing Arts in Hilliard

proVanceTek provided sound engineering for the Five Decades of Performing Arts in Hilliard benefit concert in Hilliard. The concert was in recognition of the commitment from Ken and Robin Brenneman to the Arts in Hilliard for the last five decades. Both were former teachers at Hilliard High School and Hilliard Davidson High School, Ken the Choral Director and Robin a English and Theatre teacher. Both serve on the Hilliard Arts Council.

The $16,000+ of proceeds from the event were donated in Ken and Robin's name to the construction of the Hilliard Civic and Community Arts Building that is to be built in the Old Hilliard District of Hilliard, Ohio. The community Arts facility has been a dream of Ken and Robin's for many years and is finally coming to fruition.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Giving Thanks

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Giving Thanks

proVanceTek has always been a supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We've been the East Carolina University Up 'til Dawn website for free. We also created graphic print materials and provided printing services for the organization for free during that time. Additionally, each year since, proVanceTek has provided a financial contribution to St. Jude and will again do so this year.

proVanceTek's owner, Robert Vance, had the opportunity to visit the hospital in Memphis, TN several years ago and was able to see the amount of good they do. The hospital's daily operating budget is nearly two million dollars. No family of St. Jude is ever asked to pay for anything, regardless of their ability to pay. Their yearly budget is based nearly entirely from donations from private businesses, organizations, and individuals. Over eighty percent of every dollar donated goes directly to patient care. The work that St. Jude does and the discoveries they make affect us all.

Please consider donating to St. Jude directly or by shopping at any affiliated store displaying this green magnifying glass. Make saving children's lives part of your holiday tradition and "give thanks for the healthy kids in your life, and give to those who are not."

Leviton Luma-Net Project

We're working on a project that involves a Leviton Colortran theatrical lighting system with integrated Leviton Luma-Net architectural controllers in a local venue.

The end goal is to for users to be able to turn on circuits using the Luma-Net stations, but for the circuits to turn off automagically when the room is no longer occupied.

To accomplish this, we are planning to use an occupancy sensor, Luma-Net relay, and integrate them with the existing Leviton Network Protocol Converter.

Austin Hicks Concert

proVanceTek owner, Robert Vance, worked a job that brought in Country Music Artist Austin Hicks to a local performance venue. Robert provided technical support, representing the venue for the event.

The touring concert was a one truck, one bus tour, but still required the better part of the day to load-in and setup the lighting, audio, and music gear.

Austin Hick's gig required the use of the venue's 480amp company disconnect to power their lighting and audio gear, the tour also required some conventional lighting fixtures for general illumination.

Retirement Celebration Event

We do events. This most recent event was a retirement celebration. Lighting, sound, audio/visual, the entire package. You could call our company an event planning company, we really can support every aspect of an event.

This particular event required a variety of lighting needs. We had some general mood lighting, some accent lighting, and for one schtick during the event we even had some intelligent lighting setup for some special effects. Additionally, we provided sound reinforcement; podium speaking, vocal performance, etc. We also took care of the video projection needs.

Not only did we suppy audio/visual services, we provided pre and post video production services. Prior to the event, we created video presentation pieces for the event. Additionally, the event was shot using five HD cameras, one of which was using a steady cam rig.

Kaela's Creation's Website

2012.05.20 - Submitted by: Robert Nelson Vance

Kaela's Creation's Website

proVanceTek finished setting up the new Kaela's Creations website, to replace the former Jewelry by Kaela website. Kaela first started out making handmade jewelry, but she has since expanded her crafts to various other items. Her products can be found at the Simply Vague shop at Tuttle Mall in Dublin, Ohio.

Kaela wanted the website to automatically update her products based on what she had posted on the Kaela's Creations Facebook Page. We designed the website so that it pulled the product information and photos of her products so that she could update her inventory from one, easy place - Facebook. Additionally, she wanted people to be able to purchase her items online and use PayPal to complete their payments. So her website is interfaced with her PayPal account so that her products can be purchased online.
