As owner of the company, Robert stays busy with business management tasks, marketing programs, and he even does development. Robert is proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL for web development projects. He's experienced in various content management systems, but is a Drupal poster boy. Regarding structured media, Robert experience with most mainstream audio and video hardware and software and has personally installed some awesome home and small business solutions. He's also represented proVanceTek on a number of theatrical related projects. Robert just has talent in many different skills.

Robert graduated from Ohio University with a BS in Telecommunications and a minor in Technical Theatre. While attending undergraduate school he was employed by Ohio University Telecommunications Center (WOUB - PBS) which services Southern, South Eastern, and Eastern Ohio with two television stations and six radio stations.

At WOUB, Robert had duties that included, but were not limited to: operation of studio cameras, production switchers, audio mixers, teleprompters, and gfx servers; operation of master control switcher, automation system, tape decks, production media servers, and camera control units; operation of analog and digital television transmitter sites for both television stations, all six radio station transmitter sites, and a cluster of satellite receivers; completing EAS reporting, FCC transmitter reporting, and FAA tower maintenance reporting.

Through college, Robert freelanced a number of high-profile projects in the Columbus area. He assisted a handful of touring musicals with sound engineering, was sound designer and engineer for a local performance of Carmina Burana and a couple local High School's musicals, and was sound designer and engineer for a local performance by Mickey Rooney (The Wizard of Oz). He has also continued to do similar work since.

During Robert's last year at Ohio University, he completed an internship at WBNS10TV in Columbus, Ohio in their production and operations departments. Robert was in studio, control room, engineering, and remote microwave trucks. He received academic credit from Ohio University for his completion of the program at WBNS.

Upon graduation from Ohio University, Robert started up his own software / web development business. He co-owned the new startup and performed the duties of treasurer, business manager, web designer, and IT consultant. After a successful sprint from a two man partnership to a five person, nearly half million dollar company, Robert parted ways in order to move to Greenville, NC and be with his fiancé.

Robert has since founded proVanceTek to accommodate the several clients who wanted to follow him. He's seeking clients in North Carolina. He is open to a wide variety of tasks because of his diverse background in theatre, video production, broadcast engineering, web design, and IT support.
